Internet Defense League spying on their users

I once subscribed to the Internet Defense League under a special mail account. Today I got a mail from Fight For The Future to that very mail account.

So the internet defense league doesn't mind passing around my email address to other organisation without asking me.

But that's not all. The HTML mail sent out by the Fight For The Future organisation contains, just as the previous mail from the Internet Defense League tracking images and tracking URLs that identify you when you look at the HTML mail and once you click on a link in it.

Whether it's the NSA or the Internet Defense League spying on me, both are sneaky underhand acts. I'm out of the Internet Defense League until they get a clue. Do the same, do not let anybody spy on you, be it the NSA or the IDL.
